Not a 10 bit projector

While this projector claims "colour reproduction" of up to 1.07 billion colours, which is 10 bit, it cannot receive a 10 bit signal, and only displays a range of 0-255, making it an 8 bit projector. When I asked Epson about the many retailers who advertise it as having 10 bit colour, and Epson's own manual as staying "colour reproduction" up to 1.07 billion colours, the position they took was that the projector has qualities that support that claim, but "it does not support 10 bit"
