BEST OF SHOW WINNER

Maxell MP-JW4001 3LCD Laser Projector

Affordable laser projectors in the 4,000-lumen class are becoming more common, but the remarkably slim form factor and light weight of the MP-JW4001 — just 13 x 2.7 x 10.6 inches (WHD) and 7.7 pounds — stands out from the crowd. The advance here is Maxell's use of a solid-state ceramic phosphor chip to replace the more commonly used motorized phosphor wheel found in most single-laser projectors. Combined with well-designed ventilation that keeps internal components cool, this approach saves space, improves reliability by eliminating moving parts, increases efficiency, and lowers noise.

Target Markets: K-12 education, corporate, worship  Price: $2,249 MSRP

The wait is over, you now have a choice in Lamp-Less Projectors! Maxell expanded its laser projector lineup with the slim, lightweight, 3LCD J Series projectors with 3,500 to 4,000 ANSI Lumens color brightness, ideally suited for class and conference room environments. Maxell laser projectors are virtually maintenance free, there is no lamp to replace providing a dramatic reduction in total cost of ownership.

This new series has a new phosphor technology utilizing a ceramic phosphor chip. This decreases the amount of moving and magnetic parts for stable performance, higher reliability and lower noise level. The color performance of 3LCD produces the same brightness for all white and all color resulting in accurate color representation and outstanding image quality.

The entire J Series is designed for easy installation and set-up to help save time and money. Maxell’s Perfect Fit 2 feature enables users to adjust individual corners and sides independent of one another to ensure the picture fits the screen in each classroom while the Cloning Function makes it easy to copy configuration settings from one projector to another of the same model. Maxell’s J Series lineup also supports specific control commands of several other projector brands to make replacement as easy as possible.

With wireless presentation capabilities, compatibility with popular streaming devices, Projector Quick Connection for mobile devices, USB and HDMI connection and vendor command for easy replacement, the J Series Projectors are a perfect solution for new installations or a classroom refresh. For added peace of mind, our new classroom 3LCD Laser lineup is backed by our world-class service and support programs and an industry-leading 5-year or 10,000 hours limited warranty.

With a lower total cost of ownership than most other laser projectors in the industry, the new Maxell 3LCD J Series laser projectors are the ideal solution for schools or corporate facilities looking to upgrade its classroom and conference technology solutions.

Maxell Ultra-Short Throw Laser projectors produce wide screen images up to 130” diagonal. This is equivalent to 3x the size of a 70” flat panel display. The MP-AW3001 features 3,300 ANSI lumens brightness, while the MP-AW4001 features 4,200 ANSI lumens brightness. The Ultra Short Throw Series feature WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a 500,000:1 contrast ratio. Pen thickness and color, as well as eraser and undo and redo functions, are available through the software’s painter tool.

The MP-TW3011 and MP-TW4011 both incorporate the optional finger touch unit that enables the projector to detect finger touch activity on the screen area. Windows® Multi Touch allows users with touch enabled Windows 8.1/10 systems to operate the PC directly from the interactive screen with up to six pens or touches.
