Sony VPL-PHZ12 LCD Laser Projector

Sony's 5,000-lumen, WUXGA-resolution VPL-PHZ10, now two years old, has been immensely successful thanks to bright output in a compact form factor, flexible install features that include a 1.45x zoom lens with vertical and horizontal shift and HDBaseT connectivity, and excellent image quality from a trio of 0.76-inch LCD panels. Its picture quality even earned it a ProjectorCentral Editor's Choice Award in our May 2017 review. Its replacement, the VPL-PHZ12, keeps the same form factor and display tech, but notably adds Sony's Intelligent Settings feature. First introduced last year for pricier step-up models, it speeds setup with presets that adjust several key image and other parameters based on the type of installation environment.

Entry Level Compact Model With Intelligent Settings for Enhanced Performance

Sony VPL-CWZ10 LCD Laser Projector

At just 12.57 × 14.61 × 3.94 inches (LWH) and 12.6 pounds, Sony's new 5,000 lumen, WXGA entry-level laser projector is said to be 40% smaller and 35% lighter than other 3LCD models in its brightness class. That makes it both portable and easy to install in classrooms, boardrooms, and meeting spaces. High quality pictures are delivered via three of Sony's BrightEra LCD imagers, and the company didn't skimp on set-up flexibility with the 1.6x zoom lens and both vertical and horizontal keystone correction. There's a built-in 16-watt speaker as well. Bottom line: the VPL-CWZ10 delivers a lot of brightness and projector, and the usual long 20,000-hour laser lifespan, for not too much money.

BRAVIA 4K HDR Professional Displays

The new BZ40H Series of BRAVIA® Professional Displays have new and enhanced features including: improved picture quality with high brightness and contrast, a new SoC platform for increased performance, Wi-Fi 5GHz support for less interference with high speed connectivity, Bluetooth 4.2 for fast data transfer speeds, and a sleek new cosmetic design making them ideal for the B2B market.
